There is no place like Day Camp – A home away from home where kids laugh, learn, explore and grow in the outdoors, while creating memories and friendships that last a lifetime. Kids discover not just the wonders of day camp but the joy of exploring their unique traits, talents and interests and the power of sharing their strengths and skills to benefit the group. That’s why more than 4,000 kids in Central Ohio attend the Y’s summer day camps; to belong, achieve and build relationships.

What We Offer

Traditional Camp

Day Camp is held Monday through Friday and provides kids ages 5-12 supervised activities that foster youth development. We allow for physical involvement, social interaction, educational opportunities, leadership building, personal growth and creativity in everything we do. The Y’s core values of honesty, caring, respect and responsibility are emphasized throughout activities, conversations and ceremonies.
Specialty Camp

Is your child a sports enthusiast, a cooking guru or maybe the artsy photographer type? If your child has a specific interest or hobby, we may have a specialty camp for them! Your child will also enjoy the traditional Day Camp activities like swimming, arts and crafts, games and more. You child will also attend the camp's weekly field trip. Each Y is unique and diverse, just like your child, so programs will vary. Please view your camp specific page for types of specialty camps that may be offered at your location. Specialty camps require an additional payment and prices vary by location.
Sports Camp

Is your child obsessed with hockey or soccer? Dream of being a cheerleader? Then send your little one to sports camp. From well-loved games like basketball and volleyball to new experiences such as Nerf or international sports, your child will have the chance to become an expert on all kinds of games. We focus on a different activity each week so that kids can learn the rules and strategies of the game while making great memories!
Camp Can Do

The YMCA and the Early Childhood Resource Network+ (ECRN+) are proud to offer you Camp Can Do, where children and young adults with moderate to intensive special needs can enjoy a fun day camp experience. Camp Can Do runs side-by-side with Day Camp at certain local YMCA branches, and it is open for ages 6 through 21 years old. At Camp Can Do, your child will be with experienced teachers who have worked with special needs children, and daily camp activities are tailored to fit the unique needs of every camper. At the YMCA, there’s a place for everyone!

Little Ones

Send your little one to a summer camp that will not only be a blast, but also get them ready to take on the world! In addition to preparing your child for Kindergarten, Little Ones Camp will encourage your child to explore their interests and learn through exciting hands on, educational activities.  At our Camps, your child will learn a lot, have a great time with other kids, and develop the social skills to help them succeed in school.

Camp Can Do

Are you ready for a whole new camp experience? At Teen Camp, you will go on all kinds of excursions and adventures where you will work with other campers to achieve your mission of the day-- whether that be cooking an amazing meal, solving puzzles, completing obstacle courses, or just having an awesome time! If you think you’re ready to take on more responsibility, we also have a Teen Leader Camp, or, for those entering grades 10-11, the opportunity to become Counselors in Training!
Our Safety

Our Safety

Parents look to the Y for a safe and secure environment where children can learn practical social skills and develop positive values. Our reputation for consistency and safety, as well as our focus on youth development, gives parents the confidence they need to trust us with their children.

To ensure the well-being of each child, we review our health and safety policies on an ongoing basis. Our low 1:15 staff-to-child ratio also allows our staff to give each camper the attention and guidance necessary to create a positive and safe environment.
